Hi, Thanks for visiting my "About Me" Page. I am a professional wildlife biologist, pilot, stained glass and jewelry artist, dancer, and B&B owner in Seward Alaska. I try to capture the beauty and wild spirit of the Alaska wilderness in my art and in my home.
I started creating my stained glasware after experimenting with creating a martini glass for a friend for his birthday. My friend Eric, a fisheries biologist, has an annual martini party, and I wanted to make a unique glass he could use for the party. Other friends really liked them and wanted their own, and then their friends wanted them too! It soon developed into another great small business. I started working with jewelry in 2008, and continue my love of working with glass as well as beads, silver, natural stones and other materials.
My B&B caters to the adventurous woman traveler and wildlife enthusiast, although everyone is welcome! I designed my B&B to provide all the elements that have made me feel comfortable in places I have traveled to. This includes unique character, beautiful decor, privacy, ease of getting to attractions, good personal advice, maps, books and videos on the area, great food and amenities in the room. As a professional wildlife biologist, I can help optimize your chances of seeing the amazing wildlife of this area.
I try to combine my interests and passions together through my B&B. My guests enjoy their breakfast with stained glass bowls, coffee mugs, juice and parfait glasses. I sell stained glass and jewelry on site , and guests recieve 10% off stained glass gifts. I help my guests find opportunities to see the amazing wildlife and scenery this area offers.
Seward is one of the most beautiful places on earth! I hope you will visit, and I look forward to meeting you:)
